Website redesign
What the business needed and how the new website is structured.
Project context: StoryStore is an online bookstore in Israel selling Russian-language books for adults and children, along with notebooks, gifts, and branded merch, plus a section of English books. Operating entirely in Russian, the site is a full e-commerce store with search, shopping cart, wishlist, and customer accounts. Our task was to redesign the website.
On-screen result: The homepage opens with a slider featuring books of the month and store promotions, followed by new arrivals and discounted titles. Each book displays its price in shekels and an ‘Add to cart’ button. Below are themed shelves – nonfiction, fantasy, mysteries, classics, memoirs, and more – many with playful titles. The store also offers curating a home library. At the bottom of the page, visitors can subscribe to a newsletter about books, sales, and events, while the footer links to shipping, payment, and return policies alongside the store’s phone number.
